Calendly is a scheduling tool that integrates with HoneyBook to make scheduling meetings with your clients easier. Through this integration, you can sync meetings scheduled through Calendly to your HoneyBook calendar. Note that this is a one-way integration — meetings from HoneyBook won't sync to your Calendly account. This integration is available for HoneyBook Essentials and Premium plan members.
HoneyBook also has its own scheduling tool, free for all members, that works a bit differently than Calendly — see the comparison below to decide which fits your workflow, or use both together.
How the HoneyBook Scheduler compares to Calendly
The HoneyBook Scheduler is comparable to Calendly, but it keeps everything all in one place. The Scheduler is free for all HoneyBook members, which means you have a powerful scheduling tool already built in — plus, unlike other schedulers, you can use the HoneyBook Scheduler in your smart files, to capture leads, and to further supercharge your bookings.

What this integration can and can't do
What the Calendly integration can do
Sync any meetings scheduled through Calendly to your HoneyBook calendar
Only meetings scheduled after setting up the integration will sync
Link meetings scheduled with Calendly to a HoneyBook project
If you send your Calendly link directly within a project, the session automatically assigns to that project
If a Calendly meeting wasn't booked through a project-linked share, you can also link it to a project manually
Automate certain actions in HoneyBook (using an automation) when a meeting is scheduled in Calendly
This is possible with Automations 2.0
Allow for the HoneyBook AI meeting notetaker to attend and generate meeting notes for Calendly-scheduled meetings
What the Calendly integration can't do
Pull information from your HoneyBook calendar into Calendly
Integrate with multiple companies all at once
You'll need to integrate Calendly with each company you have on HoneyBook
If you need what the Calendly integration can't do, see how the HoneyBook Scheduler stacks up above.
Integrate with Calendly on the web
You must already have a Calendly account, and be logged into your Calendly account on your browser, in order to connect with HoneyBook.
From the navigation menu, select Tools > Integrations
Alternatively from the navigation menu, select your company logo > Company settings > Integrations
Find Calendly, then select Connect > Connect
Follow the prompts to log in to your Calendly account and complete the connection
From here, your Calendly account will be connected to your HoneyBook account. If you need help with scheduling in Calendly, reach out to their support team for help.
Return to the Integrations page whenever you need to retrieve your Calendly scheduling link. You can customize your Calendly link from your Calendly account settings.
📣 Note
Need to use Calendly for HoneyBook automations? A Standard pricing plan with Calendly is required, and Calendly for automations is only supported on Automations 2.0.
Link a Calendly meeting to a project manually
If a Calendly meeting didn't automatically assign to a project — for example, it was booked through a link you shared outside of a project — you can link it to the right project afterward.
From the navigation menu, select Calendar
Find the meeting you want to link the project to, then select Add project
Select Existing project, then search for and select the project > Add to project
If you can't connect your Calendly account
If you can't connect your Calendly account to HoneyBook, you might've connected it to another HoneyBook account in the past. This can happen if you previously tested out HoneyBook as a trialer and connected your Calendly account to that trialer account.
To fix this, disconnect your Calendly account from the old HoneyBook account on the web:
Log in to the old HoneyBook account you previously connected your Calendly account to
From the navigation menu, select Tools > Integrations
Alternatively from the navigation menu, select your company logo > Company settings > Integrations
Find Calendly, then select Disconnect > Continue
Now, log in to your new HoneyBook account and connect your Calendly account there, using the steps above
